Patsy Parry started Able Trainers
in 1996 because of the lack of reward based training clubs in her
area - hundreds of dogs have passed through their doors learning fun,
reward based training methods - their dogs are confident, easy to
live with and a pleasure to own. Patsy and Marianne enjoy teaching
their owners how their dogs learn, how to get the best from them and
other ways of enriching their relationship by taking their training
further with tricks and agility classes.
Puppy Course For puppies aged 10 - 18 weeks. This specialist puppy course will
teach you and your puppy all you need to know to have a mutually beneficial
relationship. We teach your puppy how to get on with humans and other
canine friends. We will also teach you all the basics - sit, down,
come when called, and walking on a loose lead.
Advanced Puppy Class
Want to take your training further!! Join the next course where we
will endeavour to help you through your dogs adolescence and all the
problems that can come with this challenging time. Continue to socialise
him with other dogs and people and reiterate his training also taking
it one step further so you have complete control of your dog.
Beginners Class
For dogs too old for puppy classed and for rescue dogs - build a better
relationship with your dog through understanding and trust. We encourage
you to have a mutually beneficial relationship with your dog and we
do this with kind, fair and effective training. Teach your dog to
come back the first time that you call him.
Advanced Class
For those who have been through our other training courses and want
to continue to have some fun with your dogs. We teach more advanced
training and tricks to keep both you and your dogs busy and enjoying
a relationship built on working together.
